Who we are
Founded by Bryan Rood in 2005, CFB began with a simple conviction: the early Bronco deserved to be more than admired. It deserved to be driven every day.
More than 400 builds later, that idea still guides every decision. We retain the unmistakable character that made the first-generation Bronco an American icon, then rebuild the experience around the way people drive now: confident power, dependable systems, composed handling, purposeful comfort and a level of finish that feels personal.
The Founder
Classic Ford Broncos is an Ohio-based builder devoted to the first-generation Ford Bronco. It is the vehicle that founded the company in 2005, and the platform we continued to refine across more than 400 builds.
Bryan Rood did not set out to build a broad restoration shop. He set out to make the vintage Bronco he wanted to own.
I was tired of paying people to get it wrong. I wanted a Bronco I could drive every day. One that had the look, the stance, felt right behind the wheel, and lived up to the fantasy I’ve always had of what it could be. Classic Ford Broncos (CFB) grew out of my determination to build it.
The principle is simple: preserve what made the Bronco matter, then improve everything that makes an owner want to drive it.

Every CFB Bronco is built around a proven, repeatable process developed through more than two decades of specializing in 1966–1977 Ford Broncos. Modern drivetrain options, upgraded braking and steering, refined suspension, and climate control are carefully integrated to deliver a more comfortable, capable, and predictable driving experience—with specifications tailored to each series.

Built to be used
Every CFB Bronco is built with a focus on predictable handling, dependable braking, and real-world drivability. Depending on the series and configuration, upgrades include four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, refined suspension geometry, upgraded steering components, and modern seat belts.
Throughout production, our team follows established inspection and quality-control procedures. Before delivery, each completed Bronco undergoes a comprehensive final inspection and a 500-mile road-testing process to evaluate braking, steering, suspension, drivetrain performance, and overall drivability.
Our goal is simple: deliver a classic Bronco that inspires confidence every time you get behind the wheel.
